Educational Qualification
To apply for the General Manager – Supply Chain Management position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 7) in Finance or Supply Chain Management (SAQA recognized).
- Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) (preferred).
- Senior Management Service (SMS) Pre-entry Programme (Nyukela) certification.
- Computer literacy & valid driver’s license required.
Experience Required
Candidates must possess:
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience at a Senior Managerial Level in Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in strategic planning, procurement, and financial management.

Skills Required
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge to succeed in this position:

Key Responsibilities
The General Manager – Supply Chain Management will be accountable for:
- Developing & implementing Supply Chain Management policies for SASSA.
- Managing procurement, logistics, and inventory control functions.
- Compliance with financial & procurement laws in line with government policies.
- Managing regional SCM operations in nine offices countrywide.
